At AwareStore, we now (September 2026) accept "Barter" as one of our shop's acceptable "payment methods," due to various reasons listed below, and in our founder's "Soft Disclosure" series videos (related episodes in Cantonese only).

Money is only one of the media of exchange
Money's value has been manipulated deliberately so they do not represent real values
The creation of money was not backed by real assets in the past centur(ies)

As this is something "new" in year 2026, we have decided to introduce this "payment method" slowly, where gentle, mutually-respecting, and maybe lengthy discussions would precede a successful transaction.

The main idea is that customers can purchase AwareStore's products and choose "Barter" as the "payment method," and they can "pay" for the purchased products with something other than money that AwareStore needs. They can be tangible object(s) or a skill / service (or even time). Some examples:
